AC Sparta Praha multifunctional football stadium

(Praha 6)

Multifunkční fotbalový stadion AC Sparta Praha

EPRE is involved in preparing the new multifunctional football stadium of AC Sparta Praha at Strahov. We manage the complex preparatory phase of the project, including the definition of parameters and functions enabling the selection of a suitable architectural solution.

Architecture and design

The project is guided by the ambition to contribute to the development of high-quality architecture in Prague that corresponds to the character of the place and helps cultivate the urban environment.

Location

The project addresses the area in its wider context, including the immediate surroundings. The aim is to create high-quality facilities for the sporting function of the football stadium and to integrate the complex meaningfully into the structure of the city. Special attention is paid to the complicated transport accessibility of the area and its functional solution.

„I would like us to succeed in creating high-quality, sustainable architecture for the long term — for EPRE to be a brand of projects that will still work well in fifty or a hundred years and that people will love.“

„It is not about building monuments or chasing flashy architecture. But we are aware that what we build will remain here for some time after us. We try, rather, to give back to the city — to revive places that have been neglected for years. Value should be defined by the projects themselves and by the mark we leave behind in a place.“

„We do not chase yield at the cost of lower quality. What I value most about the projects we deliver is that we can bring life back to places that stood unused for decades.“

„We do not pretend to be altruists — we build so that it makes sense. But when someone notices that a former brownfield is becoming a piece of the city, it makes us happy.“

„New buildings should not merely generate profit; they should also create new quality in the public space. We aim for a high level of refinement — projects that are worth attention and that people enjoy living and working in.“

„A building in the city stays — it is a kind of signature on the face of the city that outlasts most other things.“

„Refinement also means fair and decent dealings with clients — acting responsibly rather than trying to squeeze profit out of every situation.“

„We face no pressure from time or debt, which usually pushes developers toward quick results. That allows us to give projects time and see them through to the quality we care about.“

„We are developing the company to be a respected player that delivers good, high-quality projects and behaves decently in the market.“
